How do you learn with students who are new to English? What do teachers think is essential to do? What kind of strategies do they use?
Nothing happens with learning when there is a student who doesn’t know anything about English because his or her classmates help them at all times. teachers think it’s essential that students suffer a little and learn the language faster. The teacher uses the following strategy: Ask a student who knows the language of the classmate to act as a translator.

Teachers use native languages to learn different contents in different languages
– How does project-based learning lead to deep and integrated language and content learning?
Project learning helps learners to know all the vocabulary related to the same subject and if you don’t know something you can ask the rest of your colleagues.

This video explains how learning, in this case English, by projects makes the language acquired in a more dynamic way and in a transversal way with other subjects.
I have understood how good it is to do project work with students and what they learn with them. it is a very complete way to learn things from the same subject by relating it to other subjects

Why did you choose this task to put in your e-portfolio?
Because it is one of the tasks where I had an intermediate grade and where I could really analyze my weaknesses and strengths.
What does it show about your learning?
By doing the analysis, it shows that I have communicative abilities in English, due to my natural and calm voice, but that I synthesize too much information.

With the feedback I received, I wrote down things to improve in order to analyze it and make it better next time. Review the audios thoroughly to see exactly where you could make an impact.
What’s so good about your work?
My work is good because my voice is calm and natural, I have the ability to communicate and I make good explanations. It is also good that I demonstrate the empathy that characterizes me as a person.
What could be improved?
The ability to extend the audios and my explanations as I synthesize them. I should also improve pronunciation in some of the words that may sometimes make me misunderstood.
What opportunities did the task give her to teach/use different language skills? What was difficult or challenging about the task?
This activity allowed me to make my pronunciation known and to express myself orally. The difficult part of this activity was having to record it with audacity and send it. I still have a hard time working with new technologies.
In conclusion I think I could have done a better job and given him more time to do the activity. On the other hand I think that I at least needed an explanation of the use of Audacity, because although I had already worked with this program in school, it cost me a lot to remember how it was used.
I have always dreaded the moment when I had to choose what I want to dedicate myself to. I have always liked to spend time with the little children that I had around me, so I always end up thinking about studying education.
whenever I think about it, I make a list of pros and cons, and I do not know if it will be bad luck or that it is not my thing, but they always come out more cons and of great importance.
Some pros are: the possibility of having the same holidays as your children, being able to work with children of different ages.
But the cons that are more important are: correct weekends, have too many responsibilities with children and their families and a very low salary.
Correcting the weekends means investing a lot of time in it and it takes away the ability to relax and relax completely. If you also have a family, that time you spend correcting is time that you lose to spend with your family.
Being a teacher means having many responsibilities, both with children and with their families. You have to be aware of how children evolve throughout the course, but it is also necessary to see their evolution at home. To know howparents face the situations that are presented to them with the children of the house and to be able to help them if they do not know how to do it.
Low salary is the worst thing about being a teacher. This work is one of the most important that exist, because it depends on them that the children who pass through their classrooms are great people and great professionals
Another aspect that I’m not sure I can go through is having to prepare all the activities, the possible curricular adaptations both general and significant, prepare the excursions and cultural outings. All this means having a working day longer than the corresponding 8 hours. You have to do these tasks in your free time because you can not neglect the students while you are in the school.
As we have seen throughout the various teacher conferences, as in the visits to schools, teachers are not as important today as they were before for families. At this time, society is against teachers and at all times they are given little credibility and little authority before their students. Teachers must be very careful to give one more scream or to go against one family or another.
Educators are one of the fundamental pillars in the education and growth of children. I am clear that until the teachers begin to have the importance that they should have I would not be one of them ever. I prefer that I be valued in a different job than having to suffer the bad arguments against teachers.
Being a teacher means giving 100% of your time to students, not resting, not being able to have free time for yourself, you have to be always available for students and families who need your collaboration in an extraordinary way.
